Monday, Feb.11- Pretty Mother's Home: A shakeress Daybook - Dramatic reading by
author Vickie Cimprich from her book bring African-American Shakers to life.
Monday, Mar.10- Pills, Potion and Powders, by Dennis Worthen- How the Shakers processed leaves,
roots, twigs and bark into the final dose forms of their medicinal products.
Monday, April 14- Deborah Woodworth- Meet the author of the Sister Rose Callahan Mystery
series of shker fiction, and learn how she draws her inspiration.
Monday, May 12- The Dovetail in Shaker Furniture, by Schneider- Learn about details of Shaker
craftsmanship by this skilled local furniture maker.
